The New Art Centre is a sculpture park with three award-winning contemporary buildings. The original gallery was founded in 1958 and located in Sloane Street, London. In 1994 it was moved to Roche Court, Wiltshire, a nineteenth-century house in parkland near Salisbury.

There is a changing programme of exhibitions of artists from 1950 to the present day and the gallery is open to the public all year round. The programme is supported by many British artists and their estates, including Barbara Hepworth, Anthony Caro and Kenneth Armitage, and contemporary artists including Antony Gormley, Michael Craig-Martin, Richard Long and David Nash. There is also a strong interest in ceramics, led by the work of Edmund de Waal.

The Roche Court Educational Trust works with young people, specialist groups and teachers to develop knowledge and confidence by looking, thinking and speaking about art. ARTiculation is the Trust’s international public speaking initiative for 14 to 23 year olds. It is run in partnership with major museums and galleries and is part of Cambridge University’s outreach programme.
