The Masterpiece Pavilion at Fine Art Asia
Following the tenth edition of Masterpiece London in June, The Masterpiece Pavilion at Fine Art Asia showcased a tightly focused selection of significant artworks from different genres, drawn from Masterpiece London’s exhibitors.
The Masterpiece Pavilion featured over 35 exceptional works of art drawn from 15 leading galleries: Agnews, Alan Wheatley Art, Apter-Fredericks, Alessandra Di Castro, Ben Brown Fine Arts, Butchoff, Koopman Rare Art, Long-Sharp Gallery, Michael Goedhuis, Moussaieff Jewellers, Robilant + Voena, Ronald Phillips, Valerio Turchi, Waterhouse & Dodd, and Yufuku Gallery.
Significant interest was seen across disciplines from Asian collectors, most notably in works by Paul Cézanne, Les Lalannes, a collection of early-nineteenth century Roman carved intaglios, and a pair of mid-eighteenth century English walnut chairs inspired by Chinese design.
Well attended and positively received, The Masterpiece Pavilion distilled what makes Masterpiece London such an inspiring destination for collectors, curators and lovers of art.
It has been a privilege to have been a part of Fine Art Asia this year and we look forward to returning in 2020 with a presentation of individual gallery booths.
