Cross-Collecting at Masterpiece

Philip Hewat-Jaboor
Philip Hewat-Jaboor advises private collectors, museums and designers on buying and selling a wide range of paintings, furniture and works of art, starting his career at Sotheby's Belgravia in 1972. From the first edition of Masterpiece London in 2010, he has chaired the vetting of the fair and in 2012 was appointed Chairman of the Fair.

Corrie Jackson
Corrie Jackson is the RBC Senior Art Curator, overseeing the management and growth strategy of the RBC Art Collection and developing engagement surrounding RBC’s support of the visual arts. A graduate of the Master of Visual Studies, Curatorial Practice program at the University of Toronto, Jackson’s curatorial interests focus on cross-generational dialogues and developing the role of collections as accountable and inclusive narratives. Previously she worked at the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery at the University of Toronto, at Sotheby’s Canada, and as an independent curator. She is on the board of contemporary art centre Mercer Union and the Gardiner Museum, and was recently the Fogo Island Arts curatorial residency recipient.

Alidad
Alidad is an award-winning interior designer, world renowned for his opulent yet supremely comfortable interiors. He decided to establish his eponymous studio whilst working at Sotheby’s where he was the youngest departmental director for Islamic works of art and textiles. Now with over thirty years’ experience in interior design, Alidad has worked on a wealth of projects and to a wide range of challenging briefs. His eye for colour, texture and detail is unsurpassed and has seen him featured in Architectural Digest’s AD100, ELLE Décor’s A-List, Country Life’s Top 100 Designers and House and Garden’s top 100 Interior Designers.

Patrick Legant
Patrick Legant founded Patrick Legant – Art Consultancy in 2011 as an independent, expertise-driven advisory service focusing on European and American art of the 19th and 20th Century and German & Austrian Expressionism.

Patrick Legant is a Board Member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors (APAA). He is working with individual collectors, estates and institutions worldwide on a highly personal level, building and expanding collections as well as helping with the sale of individual works or entire collections.
